Most of the teams I take part in have me playing the part of designated problem solver. This has caused a big part of my professional career as a designer to be purely technical, and I love it: coming up with effective solutions to creative problems is my favourite pastime.

My stance
Personally, I find the development of all technologies related with AI fascinating, so keeping updated on the latest news comes naturally for me. Professionally, I feel the responsibility to stay knowledgeable on this new generation of tools, as well as the consensus on the ethicality of deploying them.
